Allan Myers is seeking a hardworking Asphalt Milling and Paving Laborer to perform a range of heavy physical duties on mid-Atlantic projects. Overnight stays and weekend shifts are common during peak season, with a focus on safety and teamwork across the crew.

Qualifications

• GED/HS diploma is a plus.
• Trade school is a plus.
• Penndot paving QC tech experience is a plus.
• TopCon or similar grade control experience is a plus.
• CDL (A, B, Tanker, Hazmat) is a plus.
• Tack Truck experience is a plus.
• 2 yrs of related work experience is a necessity.
• Active, valid driver's license required.
• Good MVR required.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties involving shoveling, raking, luting, jack hammering, heavy lifting and small tools.
• Cleans tools, materials and work areas.
• Performs manual tasks requiring fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.
• Adheres to safety policies and maintains crew safety.
• Communicates with crew to ensure safety and daily goals.
• Depending on crew specialty, uses tools and directs equipment operations.
