Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an Asphalt Milling Foreman in Harrison, OH. The role oversees daily milling crew activities, ensures safety, and coordinates with project managers and inspectors to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include setup of milling equipment, monitoring depth and surface prep, and maintaining records of labor and equipment usage while enforcing DOT/OSHA compliance and scheduling repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating or supervising asphalt milling equipment; 1-2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of asphalt milling techniques, roadway preparation, grade control, and equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, work orders, and project specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred/ OSHA is a plus
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and overnight travel as project demands require.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, operating heavy equipment, and working outdoors in varying conditions.

Pay: $30-$40/hr
