We are now accepting applications for Asphalt Laborers with experience to perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. The person will work with a paving crew laying asphalt on roads, driveways, parking lots, etc. Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation. This is a seasonal job from April to November.

Experience and Skills:

• Evaluate equipment prior to use, confirming it is ready from a mechanical and safety standpoint.
• Distribute asphalt materials by raking.
• Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Match and finish freshly laid asphalt paving joints for a smooth surface.
• Perform hand tamping in areas inaccessible to rollers.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment; report major issues to the Foreman.
• Follow the Foreman's instructions regarding daily tasks and project expectations.
• Participate in weekly toolbox safety meetings.
• Inspect job sites to ensure a safe working environment prior to starting work.
• Attend required safety classes.
• Perform general labor duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
