Keeley Construction is seeking an Asphalt Laborer in Phoenix, AZ to support our Paving Group. This role involves asphalt paving, patching, prep work, and sealcoating, with hands-on duties on the job site.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of construction industry experience.
• Experience with asphalt paving and/or sealcoating preferred.
• OSHA safety awareness and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks related to asphalt paving, patching, prep work, and sealcoating, including surface preparation and material application.
• Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and other small equipment to support paving and sealcoat crews.
• Assist with the application of sealcoat, including spreading, edging, and ensuring proper coverage and a quality finish.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment as needed.
• Operate small power tools when required.
• Safely direct equipment operators to support proper alignment, movement, and placement of materials.
• Help set up, relocate, and remove traffic control devices such as signs, barricades, and cones.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety standards, maintaining strong job site awareness.
• Maintain reliable attendance and consistent communication with team members and supervisors.
