Job summary

Keeley Construction is currently seeking an Asphalt-Concrete Laborer to join our Paving Group in Denver. The role involves performing general labor tasks related to asphalt paving, patching, concrete work, and surface preparation, using hand tools, and assisting with maintenance of tools and equipment.

Minimum qualifications include 3+ years in construction, preferably asphalt paving or concrete work, and the ability to follow safety policies and work with the team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor tasks related to asphalt paving, patching, concrete work, and surface preparation.
  • Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and other equipment to spread, level, and smooth asphalt or concrete.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Operate small power tools as needed for various jobsite tasks.
  • Communicate with equipment operators to ensure safe and accurate movement and placement of materials.
  • Set up, move, and take down signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices as required for jobsite safety.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
  • Maintain reliable and regular attendance.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and the rest of the team to ensure smooth jobsite operations.
