The Quality Assurance Specialist 1 serves as one of RRM's Asphalt Laboratory Technicians. Responsibilities include performing quality-controlled tests on in-house and vendor hot asphalt, inspecting and testing reclaimed asphalt pavement, aggregates, and other raw materials prior to mixing. The role requires adherence to strict sampling methods, accurate recording of test results, data entry, report preparation, and timely recommendations based on findings. Investigations into inconsistencies, analysis, and recalculations to verify vendor claims are also part of the duties. The specialist conducts field inspections of product performance and maintains laboratory organization, cleanliness, security, and equipment calibration. Professional interaction with Asphalt Plant Personnel and Drivers is essential, along with assisting with related assignments, emergencies, and special projects.
Driver License Requirement: Valid NY State motor vehicle driver license required. Maintain license for employment duration.
