Job summary

Lehman-Roberts Company, a Granite Company, is seeking a construction general laborer to support highway and infrastructure projects. The role involves physical, hands-on tasks such as digging, grading, and material handling on job sites across the region.

Responsibilities include operating manual tools, mixing and placing materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work area; on-the-job training is provided. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with on-site work and potential for long shifts.

General Summary

Performs any combination of following tasks, such as erecting, repairing, and wrecking ; installing waterworks, locks and dams; grading

Essential Job Accountabilities

• Digs, spreads, and levels dirt and gravel, using pick and shovel.
• Lifts, carries, and holds materials, tools, and supplies.
• Cleans tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.
• Mixes, pours, and spreads concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other materials, using handtools.
• Joins, wraps, and seals sections of pipe.
• Performs a variety of routine, non-machine tasks, such as removing forms from set concrete, filling expansion joints with asphalt, and placing culvert sections in trench.

Education

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience
