Job summary

Amrize, a leading supplier of construction materials in the United States, currently has openings for a General Laborer in the Asphalt division. You will support paving crews with site prep, material handling, and cleanup to ensure safe, efficient operations on job sites across PG County and Anne Arundel County.

Responsibilities include hand-grading, raking, assisting with paving equipment, following plans and safety procedures, and maintaining tools and area cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1+ years in asphalt or construction labor.
• Ability to travel daily to PG County and Anne Arundel County.
• Willingness to learn heavy paving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist loading, unloading, and transporting materials to job sites.
• Perform site prep, cleanup, and support for paving operations.
• Support paver, roller, and lute operators for quality asphalt placement.
• Hand-grade and rake asphalt under supervision.
• Follow project plans and safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain tools and work areas in clean, organized condition.
