Job summary

Employbridge seeks a capable Lead supervisor to mentor construction field crews on asphalt projects. You will oversee crew activity, enforce safety standards, manage budgets, and ensure timely reporting and equipment use at daily operations.

The role requires fluent English, 5 years of construction experience, and proven leadership skills to coordinate diverse teams under challenging conditions. This on-site position emphasizes safety, productivity, and reliable results.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and allocates activity of asphalt crews according to plans
• Manages budget and job materials
• Conducts Daily Safety Meetings and champions a culture of safety at all times
• Manages assigned crew including scheduling and assigning specific tasks
• Monitors and reports time worked, materials, & equipment for each day
• Completes all forms including Daily Project Reports, Accident Investigations, Expense Tracking, and Daily Absence Reporting
• Completes Employee Performance Evaluations as required
• Performs any and all duties at job sites as necessary
• Works within assigned budgets and production timeframes
• Persists at difficult tasks despite unexpected obstacles
• Ability to meet all safety requirements, wearing PPE including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses and high visibility vest
• Must be able to lead a team with a diverse group of people
• Possess strong judgement and decision making skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills, must be fluent in English due to Contract Requirements

• Exposure to outdoor elements, including extreme heat and cold, rain, sleet, and snow
• Noise level can be loud. This position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and exposure to dust, concrete and asphalt
