Job summary

Texas Materials Group, Inc is seeking an Oil Distributor Operator to join the paving team in Houston. You will operate and maintain asphalt distributor trucks to apply emulsions and coats, ensuring proper surface preparation and quality paving.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience with asphalt distributor trucks, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work with crews in dynamic outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating construction equipment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of asphalt distributor operations and roadway construction practices.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and DOT/OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an asphalt distributor truck to apply prime and tack coats.
• Perform accurate application of materials according to project specs.
• Monitor spray bars, rates, temperatures, and coverage for quality results.
• Coordinate with crews and supervisors to maintain efficient operations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required documentation.
• Maintain distributor truck and equipment in clean, safe condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures and environmental guidelines.
