Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, seeks an Oil Distributor Operator to operate asphalt distributor trucks and apply emulsions, tack coats, and related products on roadway projects. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in paving operations.

You will coordinate with crews, monitor application rates, perform inspections, and maintain equipment while adhering to DOT and OSHA guidelines. Travel to multiple job sites within the territory may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years operating construction equipment.
• Experience with asphalt distributor trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an asphalt distributor truck to apply prime coat, tack coat, seal coat, and other liquid asphalt products.
• Monitor spray bar systems and application rates.
• Coordinate with paving crews and project managers for efficiency.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and documentation.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and safety procedures.
• Travel to various job sites as needed.
