Job summary

Popcorn Country in Tucson, AZ is seeking a reliable, long-term team member to help produce, package, and sell popcorn. This role requires a willingness to work weekends and at events, and a mindset to grow with a small, growing business.

You will operate an industrial popper, fulfill various orders, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food-safety standards while lifting up to 75 lbs. Prior food/kitchen experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in food/kitchen settings.
• Able to multi-task and work efficiently under time constraints.
• Friendly and customer-focused attitude.
• Available to work Saturdays.
• Willing to work events.

Responsibilities

• Work at a fast-pace in a go-go-go environment; produce, cook, package as needed.
• Greet and assist customers in-store and over the phone, tailoring orders with a friendly attitude.
• Fulfill online, phone, email, and wholesale orders and track deadlines for timely fulfillment.
• Maintain shop cleanliness in front and back of house; follow food safety guidelines.
• Operate an industrial popper, sift, bag, and seal packaging.
• Mass label and sticker product and bags.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and stand during the shift.

• Someone who wants to be a part of the team long-term, this is not a summer/ seasonal/after class position
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and get things done under a time constraint
• Experience working in food/kitchen settings
• A self-starter who takes initiative and can work efficiently and productively and multi-task
• Dependable, motivated, and ready to learn

• Knowledge of POS Systems, 3rd party sales channels, and website/social media order platforms
• Available to work Saturdays

What You’ll Do

• Work at a fast-pace, in a go-go-go environment (this is not a standing behind the counter all day position, we are producing, cooking, and packaging and everything has to be done quickly!)
• Greet and assist customers in-store and over the phone - and be able to help tailor orders to their needs with a friendly attitude
• Fulfill online, phone, email orders, and wholesale orders and keep track of order deadlines to ensure timely fulfillment
• Maintain shop cleanliness in front and back of house, and follow food safety guidelines- even during peak rushes
• Operate an industrial popper, sift, bag, and seal packaging
• Mass label and sticker product and bags
• Pick up, move, and lift up to 75 lbs and stand your entire shift
