Must read blueprints, pass extensive weld tests, work in all positions, and pass NDT. FCAW/SMAW experience required; GTAW and SAW preferred. Ability to weld carbon, stainless, chrome, and nickel alloys.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass weld tests: 6" Sch 80 6G GTAW (TIG) root/hot pass + SMAW fill/cap.
• Experience with FCAW (Flux Core) and SMAW (Stick) required.
• Experience with GTAW (TIG) and/or SAW (Submerged Arc) preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding procedures.
• Proficient with carbon arc gouging and cutting torch; experience with alloys.

Responsibilities

• Perform FCAW, SMAW, and GTAW welding as required.
• Weld in multiple positions including overhead, vertical, and horizontal.
• Read and follow blueprints, weld procedures, and shop drawings.
• Inspect welds to ensure compliance with ASME and company standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Meet production schedules and quality expectations.
