Job summary

Cimarron Energy Inc in Oklahoma is seeking an experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team. The role requires passing 3G plate and 6G pipe weld tests, reading blueprints, and performing MIG and SMAW welding on various vessel components.

You will operate saws, grinders, drills, and overhead cranes, adhere to safety policies, support Lean initiatives, and work with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; two years related work experience.
• Ability to pass 3G plate weld and 6G pipe weld tests.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Support a philosophy of zero accidents by following all safety procedures and maintaining equipment.
• Operate power tools and welding equipment to specification.
• Fit, weld, and inspect pressurized vessel/pipe components per ASME codes.
• Read plans and blueprints; work independently from sketches and diagrams.
• Support Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
