Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on structural welding experience.
• Proficient in ARC, SMAW, GMAW and GTAW welding methods.
• Must pass welder qualification tests per ASME Sec IX.
• Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and welding symbols.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision welding on structural steel, pipes, and components.
• Follow drawings and WPS to ensure code compliance.
• Conduct pre- and post-weld inspections and NDT prep.
• Maintain and calibrate welding equipment.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety policies.
• Document weld procedures and inspection results.
• Troubleshoot defects and support QA/QC.
• Participate in training and certification renewal.
