Job summary

Interpretek in Orlando, FL is seeking a dedicated American Sign Language (ASL) Staff Interpreter to provide interpretation services for Deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals. The role reports to the Director of Interpreting Services and requires adherence to RID Code of Conduct and strong customer service.

This full-time, non-exempt position offers a base pay range of $23-$35 per hour, benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match up to 4%, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in ASL-English Interpretation.
• 3–5 years of ASL interpreting experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide ASL interpreting services for Deaf or hard of hearing individuals.
• Adhere to RID Professional Code of Conduct.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
• Understand and apply ADA requirements for Deaf community.
• Maintain certification and stay current with best practices.
