Job summary

Modern Support Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) with American Sign Language (ASL) skills to support individuals with I/DD in LA and Orange Counties. Flexible shifts include part-time and full-time roles with a focus on community integration and personal care.

Candidates should be 21+, have reliable transportation and a CA driver's license, and be able to pass a background check. We offer competitive pay and benefits for full-time positions, with a supportive team

Qualifications

• Good Judgment & problem-solving skills are required.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities are needed.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• ASL proficiency required (hearing or deaf/hard of hearing).

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD).
• Serve as mentor, teacher, guide, and advocate.
• Assist clients in Community Access, Personal Care, Medical Appointments, Peer Interactions, and Recreational Activities.
