Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking American Sign Language interpreters for the Lubbock, TX area. As part of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will facilitate language communication for LEP individuals across various settings.

LSA continuously accepts qualified interpreters for a wide range of assignments. Interpreters must hold RID certification, be fluent in American Sign Language and English, and may need state licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• RID certification is required.
• State interpreting licensure as applicable.
• Associate or bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport

Qualifications/Experience

• Associate or bachelor's degree
• RID certification
• State interpreting licensure (as applicable)
• Fluency in English and American Sign Language
