About the role

We are seeking a part time ASL Interpreter to provide live interpretation for our online training programs, held via Zoom. The role will be approximately 10 hours per week, with additional opportunities and programs available on an ongoing basis, based on performance.

Our programs are technical in nature (ie cybersecurity, data analytics, computer support) and class runs between 2 - 2 1/2 hours. Classes will have a team of (2) interpreters.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of ASL interpreting experience within higher ed or professional settings
  • Hold a current national ASL Interpreter Certification

Program Schedule

We are currently adding ASL Interpreters to our Expert Network, in anticipation of projects that will launch this year and next year. This is a proactive hiring effort, where you will participate in our interview process and be added to our Expert Network. Once approved for our Expert Network, our team will be able to share various opportunities for you to support projects, programs, and our learners.

Our role will be crucial in ensuring effective communication between instructors and participants. If you have a passion for facilitating learning and possess the required skills, we'd love to hear from you!

  • This role is remote and can be located anywhere that is compatible with the EST time zone.

Compensation

  • The compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include (but are not limited to) location, experience, education and skill sets.
