Job summary

Language Link is seeking qualified Plautdietsch Interpreters for remote medical appointments. The ideal candidates will be fluent in English and Plautdietsch, possess strong communication skills, and have at least two years of medical interpreting experience. This contract position values professional behavior and familiarity with interpreting processes.

Qualifications

The Requirements and Qualifications:

2. State Certified is a plus
3. Have strong verbal communication skills in both languages.
4. Be familiar with note-taking and memory techniques.
5. Professional and courteous behavior.
6. Be accustomed to the consecutive interpretation process.
7. Strong ability and passion for interpretation and customer service.
8. Knowledge of the interpreter Code of Ethics.
9. At least 2 years of medical interpreting experience.
