Avamere at Chestnut Lane in Gresham, OR is seeking a Server for memory care, assisted living and independent living facilities. The role covers dining service, taking orders, serving, setting up and clearing tables, and room service with a focus on resident comfort and safety.

Wage ranges from $19.10 to $24.91 per hour depending on experience. Full and part-time schedules with weekend availability needed. Proficiency in American Sign Language and tactile sign language is ideal for this position.

Qualifications

• Food safety and sanitation standards knowledge.
• Personal hygiene and grooming required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Current Food Handler's card issued by local Health Department.
• Compassion and professionalism with residents.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver meal and beverage orders accurately.
• Promptly serve food and beverages to residents, ensuring attractive presentation.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and address requests during meals.
• Set up dining room before meals and maintain cleanliness during service.
• Clear tables and reset for next service; assist with room service orders.
• Know menu and dietary needs to answer questions.
• Interact with residents and guests in a professional, courteous manner.
• Follow all food safety procedures, including storage and sanitation.
• Collaborate with wait staff and kitchen for smooth service.
• Dispose of food and waste per policies.
