Job summary

Avita Community Partners in the North Metro Atlanta area seeks ASL-fluent licensed counselors to provide behavioral health services to deaf clients, including adults, children and adolescents. Services are delivered in office and community settings with potential travel by personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or Counseling with eligibility to become professionally licensed in Georgia.
• Associate License in Georgia (LAPC, LMSW or LAMFT) is acceptable as entry.
• Proven communication and teamwork abilities in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health services to deaf clients (adults, children, adolescents) in office and community settings.
• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling as needed.
• Must be willing to use personal vehicle to reach clients and community sites.
