Job summary

Qualifications

• ASL proficiency required for effective communication with Deaf individuals.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Authorization to work in the United States and background check clearance.
• Experience in healthcare, human services, or disability support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with ADLs including grooming, cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene.
• Support participation in community activities, recreation, and social engagement.
• Accompany to appointments, shopping trips, and social outings as needed.
• Encourage independent living skills and document ISP progress.
• Promote communication, self-advocacy, and decision-making.
• Support Deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals using ASL.
• Maintain accurate documentation and promptly report health concerns.
