Job summary

Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland is seeking American Sign Language Caregivers to support adults with intellectual disabilities in daily life.

As a DSP you will assist with personal care, meal prep, housekeeping, and social activities, while providing companionship and coaching. This role offers flexible schedules, with full-time, part-time, or PRN options, and overtime pay. Fluency in ASL and a valid Ohio driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in American Sign Language.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Clear background check.
• Current Ohio Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current automobile insurance strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with developmental disabilities in daily living activities.
• Provide companionship, coaching, and teaching to build skills.
• Assist with personal care, meal prep, housekeeping, and social activities.
• Encourage independence and community participation.
