Job summary

Ashe Memorial Hospital in West Jefferson, NC is seeking a CT Technologist for a Full-Time position to perform CT imaging procedures and support accurate, timely diagnosis. The role requires ARRT CT certification or registry-eligible, graduation from a radiologic technology program, and current CPR certification.

Night shifts are included, on-call is required, and a commitment to patient safety and quality imaging is essential.

Position Overview

The CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to support accurate and timely diagnosis. This role is essential in delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care—especially during overnight hours when it matters most.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and selection of appropriate imaging parameters
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
• Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients for reactions
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary care teams

• Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to quality control standards
• Document procedures accurately in accordance with regulatory requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Certification: ARRT (CT) registered or registry-eligible
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Certification: Current CPR certification – required
• Experience: CT experience preferred; strong candidates with relevant training will be considered
