Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington, GA seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams under Radiologist supervision for patients from neonatal to geriatric. You will work in a patient-centered, collaborative setting and participate in ongoing clinical care.

The role offers a Fri/Sat/Sun 7p-7a weekend option, a sign-on bonus up to $15,000, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support work–life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum one year experience as a Radiologic Technologist. If less than one year, ARRT CT certification required.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) for CT (CT registration preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. #IND789 #GD

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiological Technologist. If less than one year as Radiologic Technologist must have advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
If less than one year as a Radiologic Technologist, Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (CT).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
BLS certified. Six (6) months experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
