Job summary

Desert Sage Behavioral Health Plc is seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. An empathic individual will perform intake triage, assist with mental health screenings, and coordinate with clinic management to support patients and practitioners.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification and experience working with persons in crisis is preferred.
• BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Clear all phone messages
• Check email
• Check all platforms throughout the day
• Check fax/copier machine
• Greet and treat patients with respect and empathy
• Make sure front desk is always attended to
• Confirm patients for the next day
• Documents vitals, screening results, patient history and personal information into EHR as needed.
