Job summary

Desert Sage Health Centers seeks a Medical Assistant to provide general patient care and education under providers' direction, handling routine duties across medical, dental, and behavioral health services.

You will triage patients, perform basic clinical procedures, document in the EHR, manage supplies, and support referrals and testing while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a patient‑centered approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Medical Assistant program and CMA certification in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Willingness to pursue certification if not yet certified.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medical procedures and document as needed.
• Triage patients with proper documentation.
• Perform routine lab duties and collect specimens.
• Enter patient data into electronic health record system.
• Maintain supplies and assist with referrals and testing.
