Job summary

Laguna Palms Orthodontics in Elk Grove, CA is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support our orthodontic team and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced office.

You will assist during procedures, prep and sterilize instruments, educate patients on oral hygiene, and manage schedules while maintaining safety standards and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
• Experience as a dental assistant, preferably in an orthodontic setting.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Current CPR certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
