Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; coursework in early childhood education is a plus.

• Strong communication, patience and interpersonal skills; background check and NJ compliance required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities
• Supervise and assist children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Provide attentive care and emotional support to children throughout the day
• Assist with behavior management using positive reinforcement techniques
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and guardians as needed
• Step in seamlessly as an on-call substitute across various classrooms and age groups
