Job summary

World Of Wisdow LLC is seeking a childcare assistant to support Lead teachers in supervising playtime, reading, mealtime, and infant/toddler care. The role requires fluent English, strong communication with staff and parents, and reliable attendance.

You will provide a safe, loving environment, assist with diaper changes, and help monitor and ensure the safety of children, including lifting up to 25 pounds while performing duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 completed units of early childhood education or currently enrolled (within 6 months).
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older with HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor children and ensure care and safety.
• Assist Lead teachers with supervising playtime, reading time, mealtime, diaper changes, and infant/toddler care.

In this role, you will assist the Lead teachers with supervising the children playtime, reading time, mealtime, diaper change and care for infants and toddlers.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide a safe and loving environment for the children in his/her care.
• Speak, read, & write English fluently.
• Sufficient mobility and strength to repeatedly sit, stand, balance, stoop, walk, bend, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl and have full range of body motion.
• Ability to work with cleaning/sanitizing chemicals and equipment.
• Must have above average attendance and punctuality and be dependable to work on a daily basis.
• Monitor children and ensure care and safety.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 6 completed units of early childhood education or currently enrolled (within 6 months)
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED certificate.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Extended periods of time sitting or standing.
• Reliable transportation to the childcare center.
