Job summary

Siemens EDA, a leader in Electronic Design Automation, seeks a Field Application Engineer 3 to drive technical wins, guide customers through ASIC/FPGA verification flows, and lead pre-sales engagements. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with account teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.

Ideal candidates hold a 3+ year engineering degree, expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog/UVM, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of ASIC/FPGA design and verification flows.
• Expert in advanced verification methodologies and environments.
• Expert in Verilog/VHDL/SystemVerilog, UVM, PSL/SVA.
• Experience with Verification IP, Formal & Emulation is a plus.
• Ability to map Siemens EDA solutions to customer workflows.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; US citizenship is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for DVT technologies and pre/post sales strategies.
• Build relationships with customer engineers and first-line managers.
• Assist with technical discovery to define requirements and workflows.
• Deliver clear technical presentations showing Siemens EDA value.
• Support sales campaigns with evaluations, pilots, and solution positioning.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Support, and Services across engagements.
• Drive product adoption through methods, workflow improvements, and deployments.
• Contribute to solution configuration and licensing discussions.
• Assist customers with deployment challenges to ensure satisfaction.
• Share customer insights with internal teams about needs and competition.
• Mentor junior Field Application Engineers and grow team knowledge.
• Stay current on Siemens EDA solutions and go-to-market strategies.
