Job summary

Lockheed Martin seeks an experienced ASIC/FPGA engineer to design, verify, and document complex FPGA/ASIC solutions. You will determine architecture design, conduct system simulations, and guide implementations from high-level design through place-and-route and timing analysis.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering or computer science, with FPGA architecture and design experience on Xilinx/AMD, Intel, or Microsemi devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering or computer science.
• FPGA architecture and design, with applied knowledge of either the Xilinx/AMD, Intel or Microsemi FPGA devices and their associated application environments.
• Possess technical expertise to apply discretion and judgment to complete assignments of moderate scope and complexity, using current technology such as FPGAs, Microprocessors, DSPs, and Interface Controllers.

Responsibilities

• Develops, designs, verifies, and documents ASIC/FPGA development from high-level design to synthesis and place & route.
• Performs architecture and system simulation to ensure timing and power utilization meet requirements.
• Establishes operation data through testing and evaluation of FPGA/ASIC implementations.
