Job summary

Lockheed Martin seeks a Hardware Development Engineer to design, develop, and integrate hardware and embedded solutions for next-generation aerospace programs. You will work on FPGA IP cores using SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL and participate in full hardware/software development life cycles.

You’ll contribute to challenging projects supporting F-35, F-16, and Skunk Works initiatives in a fast-paced Agile environment, mentoring junior engineers while advancing innovative technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience in verification of FPGA devices.
• HDL development with VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate hardware and software for embedded systems.
• Create architecture, logic designs, and system simulations for embedded systems.
• Perform FPGA and embedded system design simulations to verify performance.
• Utilize SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL to create FPGA IP cores.
• Drive Skunk Works R&D on emerging technologies.
