Job summary

Meta is hiring an ASIC Engineer to support EDA infrastructure in Menlo Park. You will contribute to Front End, Physical Design, and RTL2GDS flows, and build internal automation tools to boost productivity across ASIC design cycles.

You will collaborate with EDA vendors, manage licenses, and coordinate with compute, storage, and CI teams to tailor infrastructure for ASIC workflows. A strong scripting and EDA background is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed before joining Meta
• 2+ years of experience with EDA tools and scripting (Python, Tcl)
• Experience with ASIC EDA infrastructure management, maintenance and support
• Experience communicating across internal teams and with vendors

Responsibilities

• Front End implementation flow development and support
• Physical Design implementation flow development and support
• RTL2GDS flow development and support
• Internal tools development and automation to improve productivity across ASIC design cycles
• Work with EDA vendors on tools/features evaluation and adoption
• Manage internal EDA license requests, installation and license forecast
• Collaborate with infrastructure team on compute grid, storage, and job scheduling
• Adapt internal infrastructure to ASIC design solutions
