Teradyne in North Reading, MA, seeks an ASIC and Logic Design Engineering Manager to lead a 4–6 person FPGA/ASIC team for Compute Test products. You will oversee 2–3 FPGA/digital IP projects, collaborate across disciplines, and ensure timely deliverables in budget.

TheLogicDesign Managerisresponsible forleading a team of developersindesigning and verifyingFPGA’sfor TeradyneComputeTest Division’s nextgenerationproducts.In this role you willlead a team of~4-6engineers in a fast-paced environmenttohelp the organizationmeet key business needs.Requires closecollaborationwiththeotherFPGA design and verification managers and with otherengineeringdisciplinesincludingmixed signalASIC design,circuit board design,softwareand systemsengineeringtospecify andimplementnew products.You should have hands-on experience with complexFPGA(and preferably digitalASIC)SOC designs for real-world products. Youalso shouldhave a proventrack recordof managing engineering teams towardtimelydeliverables and successful project completion.
Leadmultiple simultaneous(typically 2-3) FPGA or digital IP development projects.
Typically includes oversight of some remote resources.
Planning and trackingofproject scheduleandbudget.
Manage project staffing levelsincluding bothfull time and contract resources.
Represent theFPGAteam on project core teamsand atprogram reviews.
Contribute to FPGA implementation (i.e.code RTL blocks) as needed.
Provide technical supportfor HWsustainingissues.
Set goals, provide coaching and manage compensationofa4-6personteam.
Contribute toFPGAteam process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate withother engineering and business disciplines to ensure thatFPGA and IPdeliverablessatisfy all product requirements.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $155,500 - $ 248,700. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan:This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
