Job summary

RTX, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks a Financial Controller for the Asheville Machining operations. The role drives financial performance, partners with Operations, and ensures alignment with strategic goals in a manufacturing setting.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve KPIs, manage COPQ, CPH, and product cost, and optimize capital investments and OEE to support growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (12+ years) OR advanced degree with 10+ years experience.
• Experience with SAP and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations, monthly closing, forecasting, and alignment with long-range and annual planning objectives.
• Drive accountability for financial KPIs, including COPQ, CPH, and product cost, with Operations and Finance leadership.
• Manage capital investment initiatives and optimize OEE to achieve favorable fixed cost absorption in a growing factory environment.
• Support airfoil production by ensuring financial processes align with operational goals.
• Maintain and enhance financial controls and compliance with internal and external standards.
• Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on financial data and trends.
