Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks a Training Specialist to lead on-the-job and classroom training within aseptic production. You will develop, implement, and audit training programs, ensure compliance, and mentor staff across multiple shifts.

A strong focus on SOPs, quality, and safety is essential. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in regulated manufacturing with 2+ years in training programs, plus proficiency in MS Office and QA documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field preferred or equivalent education & experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment.
• Minimum of two (2) years administering or developing training programs.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs and training materials with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assess employee training and job competencies.
• Ensure new employees are adequately trained before independent work.
• Ongoing validation of competencies and retraining as needed.
• Coordinate training plan execution with production managers.
• Weekly resource planning to support cycle plans.
• Document training materials in QMS and file properly.
• Track KPI data and report training status to management.
• Maintain current and standardized department documents.
• Support training and development initiatives.
• Ensure data integrity of on-the-job training records.
