Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co. is seeking an Aseptic Production Machine Operator for Hendersonville, NC. This full-time role oversees downstream equipment, including OCME packer, labeler and palletizer, ensuring products meet specifications and safety standards.

The position requires operating on a 2-2-3 schedule with day and night shifts, wearing safety gear and following GMP protocols. Starting pay is $20.00/hour, with bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience, as a machine operator.
• Experience in the food/beverage industry.
• Must have excellent time management skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Comfortable with technology and computers.
• Must be detail-oriented and can multi-task.
• Proven organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the labeler on the Aseptic line and verify glue/flow levels, temperatures, and cleaning schedules.
• Operate the palletizer on the Aseptic line and verify packaging size, film, and palletizing patterns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies for cost control, waste reduction, product quality, food safety, and safety.
• Detect equipment malfunctions and adjust machinery to maintain smooth operation.
• Set up equipment for daily production and assist in mold changeovers.
• Respond to alarms and troubleshoot to prevent downtime.
• Follow startup/shutdown procedures and maintain records in Sherlock.
