Job summary

Job Juncture is assisting a world-class manufacturer in Indianapolis seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with extensive aseptic bottling and packaging expertise. You will lead projects focused on reliability, machine efficiency, root cause analysis, safety and maintenance effectiveness, employing data analysis to drive cost reduction and capacity gains.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required: Mechanical, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
7–10 years of engineering experience in a production manufacturing facility with emphasis on OEE and process improvements.
Hands-on leader with project management experience.
Experience in a food-grade environment (FDA, GMP, HACCP) with high-speed packaging equipment preferred.
Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Process and Packaging equipment design, automation and controls (PLC, DCS).
Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
Familiar with AutoCAD/Inventor/SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead projects focused on reliability and machine efficiency improvements.
Conduct root cause analysis to reduce downtime and defects.
Drive maintenance effectiveness and safety improvements.
Acquire and analyze data to guide manufacturing improvements and cost reductions.
Teach and train junior engineers and cross-functional teams in a collaborative way.
