Job summary

Darigold is seeking a skilled Aseptic Vacation Relief Operator for the Boise plant. This role supports temporary vacancies, training efforts, and projects within the UP Department, handling diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Thursday-Saturday and half of Wednesdays from 6:00pm-6:30am. The position requires standing 12 hours, lifting up to 60 pounds, and proficiency with Excel/Outlook. Training and coverage duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Must understand Ingredient Inventory standards and Lot Tracking.
• Must obtain antibiotic testing certification.
• Must understand CIP operations and their importance.
• Ability to monitor several concurrent processes and adjust to flow changes.
• Plan 24 hours ahead with contingency/variance plans.
• Must stand/walk for 12 hours.
• Must lift/carry up to 60 pounds frequently.
• Strong communication and computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Safe, efficient operation of equipment within the Aseptic Department.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external process customers.
• Coordinate and deliver against the daily production plan.
• Monitor and maintain quality per GMP standards.
• Maintain inventory to support 24-hour production.
• Perform quality tests on raw milk per guidelines.
• Ensure proper ingredient utilization and batch timelines.
• Assist with routine maintenance tasks when needed.
