Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier Spokane is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor I, Formulation, to oversee aseptic operations including filling, lyophilization, and related processes. This role requires ensuring GMP compliance, training staff, and maintaining production quality across the SVP manufacturing department.

You will supervise daily operations, update documentation, and collaborate with QA, maintenance, and other teams to meet schedules and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science: Biology, Chemistry or related hard science required.
• 2 Years of related leadership experience in lieu of specific hard science; degree still required
• OR 4 years solid Pharma Manufacturing or related Supervisory experience in lieu of degree.
• 6 months’ related experience required.
• Lead or Supervisory experience preferred.
• Pharmaceutical Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned manufacturing operations including processing source materials, equipment prep, sterilization, aseptic filtration, filling and lyophilization.
• Review and update manufacturing documentation.
• Provide cGMP, job tasks, and safety training for personnel.
• Maintain area SOPs and BPRs; ensure cGMP compliance.
• Supervise hourly employees and ensure SOP/SOP adherence.
• Conduct deviation investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Order production supplies and equipment as needed.
• Prepare production-monitoring reports and participate in cost analysis.
• Interview new employees; provide coaching and performance reviews.
• Assist management with capital expenditures and efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues.
