Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, Indiana, seeks an Aseptic Equipment Lead to own setup, performance, and optimization of a critical aseptic filling line during the shift, driving product quality and team efficiency. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operators to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires manufacturing experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to lead troubleshooting and training while maintaining compliance in a fast-paced sterile

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn enterprise systems (Veeva, D365, Blue Mountain).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Become subject-matter expert for assigned filling line and its supporting systems.
• Lead troubleshooting, identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
• Monitor line performance and support OCRs and inspection readiness.
• Analyze trends to reduce downtime, improve operator efficiency, and boost yield.
• Standardize and train others on equipment setup and basic troubleshooting.
• Partner with Line Engineers and Operational Excellence teams to drive safety, quality, and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain Grade A/B aseptic gowning certification and complete operator qualification/media fill requirements.
