Job summary

Alcami is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to support sterile liquid manufacturing, including compounding, filling, and finish processes using isolator technology. The role emphasizes GMP compliance, training, and document control in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will learn department procedures, perform in-process sampling, and maintain production records while adhering to health and safety standards. This on-site role requires flexibility for extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience; 2-5 years preferred in cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience in dispensing, compounding, aseptic filling, or visual inspection is desirable.
• Candidates with life sciences or engineering degrees will be considered without manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Learns and executes manufacturing operations, including setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment for dispensing, compounding, filling and visual inspection.
• Becomes SME on compounding/filling processes and equipment.
• Performs processes per SOPs and batch records, maintaining quality and documenting deviations.
• Conducts in-process and end-of-process sampling to ensure product quality.
• Maintains accurate production documentation with minimal errors.
• Complies with cGMP and company training requirements; follows safety protocols.
• Performs cleaning of rooms, tools, and equipment; supports other areas as needed.
• Works with variable shifts, including weekends, as needed.
