Job summary

Alcami is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I (Compound/Fill/Finish) to support sterile injectable production in vial and syringe configurations. You will operate aseptic processing equipment, follow SOPs and batch records, and maintain GMP-compliant documentation to ensure product quality.

The position is on-site with a 12-hour night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) and requires teamwork, safety compliance, and strong attention to detail to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years’ work experience required.
• Prior work experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment required.
• Previous experience in dispensing, compounding, aseptic filling, or visual inspection highly desirable.
• Candidates with NC Bioworks certificate will be considered without manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Learns and executes manufacturing operations for dispensing, compounding, filling, and inspection.
• Become a SME on compounding/filling processes and equipment.
• Performs production tasks in accordance with SOPs and batch records.
• Conducts in-process and end-of-process sampling/quality checks.
• Identifies inefficiencies and communicates with supervision for improvements.
• Maintains production documentation with minimal errors.
• Ensures compliance with cGMP and training requirements.
• Follows safety procedures and PPE requirements.
