Job summary

Mossy Nissan El Cajon is seeking experienced ASE Certified Service Technicians to join our high-volume shop. You will inspect, service, and prepare new and used vehicles to factory standards, delivering quality work on time.

We offer a pay scale of $35.00-$45.00 per hour, plus a productivity bonus that can raise total hourly earnings up to $56.00, along with medical, retirement plans, paid vacation and holidays, disability insurance, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• ASE certification is required.
• Strong automotive background.
• Must have clean & valid driver's license.
• OEM certifications are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of current models and used vehicles sufficient to effectively communicate with service & sales staff.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed if additional service is needed and provide time estimates for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Comply with all applicable company and legal requirements controlling vehicle repairs.
