Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive repair experience across engine, brake, steering, suspension, and preventive maintenance systems.
• Manufacturer-trained with the ability to diagnose and complete assigned repairs.
• Current manufacturer certifications in applicable repair categories.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle concerns and complete repairs according to repair orders and dealership standards.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs and safety before returning to customers.
• Document diagnostic findings, test results, completed repairs, and technician time on every repair order.
• Maintain hand tools and return dealership-owned tools after use.
• Keep the service bay clean and organized, using shop supplies responsibly.
• Communicate repair or safety concerns promptly and follow schedules and dealership procedures.
