Job summary

Nissan of Downtown LA is seeking a Main Level Experienced Service Technician in Los Angeles, CA. The technician will diagnose, repair, and road-test vehicles, while maintaining safety and quality standards across service procedures.

The ideal candidate brings several years of automotive experience, current ASE certifications, and the ability to document work clearly. Lithia benefits include competitive pay, health plans, PTO, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Three to five years' experience in automotive technical knowledge
• Manufacturer certified in all areas listed above
• Minimum of 3 ASE certifications (Should be an ASE Master Technician)

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
