Job summary

Lithia & Driveway's L0399 Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac of Ann Arbor is seeking an experienced automotive technician to perform repairs and diagnostics to Lithia and manufacturer standards. You will road-test vehicles, document procedures, and maintain tools with a focus on safety and quality.

Required are manufacturer training completion and a minimum of three ASE certifications. Expect a fast-paced environment, ongoing training, and opportunities for growth within a large automotive retailer

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
Excellent communication with customers and team members.
Competency: Passed manufacturer training and can perform repairs in multiple areas.
Minimum of 3 ASE certifications (Master Technician preferred).
Automotive technical knowledge and experience with engine, suspension, brakes, electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy per standards.
Diagnose causes of malfunctions.
Complete all work following safety requirements.
Road-test vehicles to ensure repair quality.
Record time spent on repairs using company clocking procedures.
Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
Maintain and inventory tools necessary for repairs and return special tools to proper place.
