CarMax in West Point, VA is hiring a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair and recondition vehicles to meet safety and quality standards. You’ll work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled facility, using advanced tools and ongoing training to grow your technical skills.

The role requires hands-on experience with engines, brakes, steering, suspension and HVAC, a valid driver's license, and ASE certifications where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
